Do you wish to understand authentic texts in Norwegian, but think this is hard? Already speak Norwegian at a high level, but still want to improve?
This course is designed for students who want to develop their knowledge at an advanced level and is therefore intended for students who have a very good knowledge of Norwegian.
Course materials are free and consist of texts in different genres. By working with different themes, both fiction and nonfiction, we aim to ensure that all participants broaden their linguistic and cultural understanding.
In this course we have chosen interesting themes that will engage participants. Through discussions, debates and other oral exercises all students get a chance to practice with other motivated students at a high level.
We will also work towards a better understanding of written texts by looking at many different genres - letters, articles, speeches, poems, chats, stories and the like. All the material is authentic.
Listening may be difficult for many. Listening will therefore be emphasized through different exercises. These tasks consist largely of newscasts. The course also consists of a number of written assignments - reports, argumentative texts and the like.
After completing the course, participants will have increased knowledge in language comprehension and a more varied vocabulary. One should be able to use complex sentences and structures and have fewer grammatical errors. One will be able to write better and have extended understanding.
Sessions are held twice a week on mondays and wednesdays or tuesdays and thursdays. Each session consists of 3 lesson hours for a total of 30 lesson hours. The course is about six weeks long with a total of 10 lessons. Each lesson hour is 45 minutes.

Course materials are included in the price of the course and are prepared by the teacher accrding to the students' needs. Course topics and gramma:
Free speech and imagery, politics and society, Norway and the world, famous Norwegians and events, literature.
Pronouns (with focus on reciprocal pronoun), particle verbs, word formation with u- and mis-, comparison expressions, word order (variation in word order), verb groups.
At the end of the course, if you completed 80% or more of the sessions and paid the course fee, you will receive an official digital course certificate.
