These are practical lessons to improve your conversational ability, pronunciation, and grammar in daily  conversation, and are especially helpful for those who have difficulties with spoken Norwegian. 

 

This course is not included in our Unlimited Norwegian lessons offer.

 

About the course

In the classroom, you will receive a controversial article or topic that can be discussed further with friends or colleagues outside the classroom. In some lessons, authentic video- and listening tasks are used to address current topics in the Norwegian community debate. You will get a good insight into what is happening and discussed in different arenas in Norwegian society. In addition, you will practice formulating, expressing and justifying your views. You will receive topic and articles in advance so that you can come prepared.


Course level

You need to be on level B2-C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).

 

 

Completing the course

You can complete this level as a whole or in parts. Sessions are held twice per week and ach session consists of 2 lesson hours. Each lesson hour lasts 45 minutes.

 

Course materials

Materials are included in the price of the course and are prepared for the lessons by the teacher. The subjects discussed in Conversation B2-C1 include:

  • Children & Technology

  • Private- vs Public school system

  • "Mastersyken"

  • The future of the Wellfare state

  • Fake news

  • Multicultural Norway

  • Surrogacy

  • The Wolf-debate

 

Course certificate

At the end of the course, if you completed 80% or more of the course's content and paid the course fee, you will receive an official digital course certificate.

 

Public holidays

Sessions that per schedule would fall on a Norwegian public holiday, will take place on Fridays.
