The course includes individual and group work, discussions, listening exercises, and homework. The course focuses on Chapters 11 to 14 of the book "Stein på Stein".Participants of this course will start level B1 based of the language levels as described in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
Sessions are taught in Norwegian from day 1, so no English knowledge is required. This means that using the language is a must from day 1, which leads to a faster progression.

They will be able to understand the main topic of conversations and be able to provide input. It will be easier to speak about their experiences, hopes, dreams, and ambitions, and can write simple documents about topics they are familiar with using more complex sentence structure. Participants will be able to participate in meaningful discussions with others about Norwegian society and current events.
Sessions are held twice a week on mondays and wednesdays, tuesdays and thursdays, or fridays and saturdays. Each session consists of 3 lesson hours for a total of 30 lesson hours. The course is about five weeks long with a total of 10 lessons. Each lesson hour is 45 minutes.
Use of textbooks and other teaching aids on the course are mandatory. Books are not included in the price and can be purchased at school or at most bookstores. Materials other than the text and work books will be used, but these will be provided by the teacher.
