Alfaskolen AS is part of SG Management group that includes Dutch First BV. This privacy policy explains how we use any personal information we collect about you when you use our websites.
What information do we collect about you?
We collect information about you when you register with us for a language course. We also collect information when you take a placement test, voluntarily complete customer surveys, provide feedback and participate in competitions. Website usage information is collected using cookies.
How will we use the information about you?
We collect information about you to process your order, manage your account, customize learning groups and, if you agree, to email you about other products and services we think may be of interest to you.
We use your information collected from the websites to personalize your repeat visits to our website.
Alfaskolen AS will not share your information for marketing purposes with companies outside the SG Management Group.
Marketing
We would like to send you information about products and services of ours which may be of interest to you. If you have consented to receive marketing, you may opt out at a later date.
You have a right at any time to stop us from contacting you for marketing purposes or giving your information to other members of the SG Management Group.
If you no longer wish to be contacted for marketing purposes, please send an email with “I don’t wish to receive marketing information.” to info@alfaskolen.no.
Access to your information and correction

We want to make sure that your personal information is accurate and up to date. You may ask us to correct or remove information you think is inaccurate.
When will we delete your personal data?
On July 20, 2018, the new Personal Data Act came into force in Norway. It is prohibited to retain personal data for longer than necessary for the purpose for which they were collected. Information must be deleted, even if you have not requested this. At Alfaskolen we will delete all your personal data 5 years after you completed your last course with us. This time frame is set to comply with the five-year storage obligation in accordance with the Norwegian Accounting Act.
